You really think the FBI wasted their time on a rerouted IP phone call? And the kid isn't out if that's the case? As evil as they may be I really doubt it. If I remember correctly the news reporter didn't once comment on why he was arrested, it was a 'the mother says' and mothers are likely to say anything to protect their young. The FBI definately wouldn't tell her thats what happened and then leave the kid locked up. Perhaps thats what the kid told his mother and she believed it but still sounds alil fishy. Just so sad that the kid is so young and had his rights stripped. Must make the mother feel so helpless. Everyone deserves due process regardless

Stole his IP.... lol. The ISP has records of who has what during exact periods of time. His IP can't be stolen. His computer could be rooted(hijacked), and someone could proxy through him.... But that's also easily detectable. You really think someone technologically sauvy enough is trying to what... Frame a 16 yr old kid?

Nah, I'm betting the little kid did it(jokingly? "haha, you're not funny, oink"). Likely being 'psychologically evaluated' for how stupid one has to be to make fake bomb threats.
