I have an extreme Phobia to storms, i mean damn!

heres the thing, about half an hour ago, the storm was probably at its peak, and i have alot of windows in my house, and lightining struck, then thunder, then the casual BOOM! but this was not the casual BOOM! the thnder was so strong that it shook my ENTIRE house and shattered one of my windows, and im already scare of storms, so i panic and go light up a blunt, i smoke thsi blunt sooo fast my chest starts to hurt, but it goesaway and im blazed but still scared, i have been scared of storms ever since i was six, because we was hit by an f3 that took our house and everything in its path, luckily we had a storm celler but we dont now! and that tornadoe, took my first dog! like not swept up, but the wind was so strong it picked him up and smack right into the side of our hosue and he was dead.

is there any way i can get over this fear? its literally controlling me!

you must face your fears in order to overcome them.

realize the tornado is one in a million chance and it ever happening to you again is very slim.

dont get me wrong mother nature is far more powerful than man but you should not be afraid.

you may have a little ptsd, there are medications that can help and there are people to talk to, give it a shot maybe it'll help.good luck.
