In case you have not noticed, this site is being UPGRADED today, and the GROWFAQ is being worked on and improved by a team of seasoned growers.
Nongreenthumb took the reins and has worked for hours on end day and night re-arranging information into catagories. Mogie has contributed as much to DIY as any other 5 members. Fdd2blk is an advisor too along with some of the MODs like Skunkushybrid.
It might take a while to see many changes, but the person Rollitup and this site has more to offer Newbie Growers than any other site available.
The DIY threads are amazing and offer easy, cheap ways to build anything form an entire GrowRoom to a simple Vaporizer or Bong.
It is very apparant that we here are a very proud community of growers.

I am curious who picks the moderators? Can the people vote on them? This would seem more fair. List their fields of expertise and then let the people vote.

How can we help the mods jobs easier?

Mogie, Lady, I wish I knew.
I have seen the word MODERATOR under POTROAST's name, but only once. I am guessing that Moderators don't post much, or they are absent a lot, or we'd see more of them. I once asked the most helpful person here, Videoman, what do Mods do here and he said they watch for Advertising Spam, but that is all I am aware of that they do. I doubt there are more than 3 or 4 of them for the 15,000 members here.
I saw a post or thread a few weeks ago, ran for over a month, WE NEED A MODERATOR to answer some questions.they were asking about rules and "how to" and not one Moderator ever responded, so I am pretty sure they
are short handed and in need of Moderators.

Maybe the moderators didnt have anything to add that night. The Mods keep everything moving with the flow here. Besides the spam removal, they are all able to move threads from one forum to another if you mispost(i am guilty) within 12 hours. I never had to ask. To everyone here, thanks for all you do and all you have done.

Someone might want to mention that in FAQ we have what reads, "Three grow methods, seven plant problems, nine advanced techniques..." To look professional you need a period after the number.

To be consistent number miscellaneous and seeds also.

Ok the mods are usually voted by you guys, we do need more mods but once you guys vote on them you guys all turn on him or they are not ready to be a mod of a site.

The rollitup shirts are in existance but the store is still being worked on

The FAQ had changed its name to rollipedia it might change again im going to be asking the FAQ group what they want it to be.

This is a hobby for most of us so try to give us all a break..
