I think a child should be at least 18 and should make the choice themself.

I recall watching something on the history channel about hippie communes.
They were talking about acid.
They believed that everyone should be on it.
They showed little kids and said they were dosed as well.

These things remind me of when I used to sell herb.
I would not smoke or sell in front of peoples kids.

Some people acted like I was being high and mighty.
I would not smoke ciggs around a kid let alone weed.

I believe drugs are similar to religion in that they should not be forced onto anyone.

Agreed all the way. Let them make the choice on their own...when their responsible enough to make a choice like that. Sometimes...not even an 18y/o is mature enough to understand what they're doing or about to do.

Then again...soometimes a 15 y/o can comprehend better than their parents or other adults.

But as a general rule...be at least 18.

great opinions!! but.... we hate our laws on marijuana right?? so why would there be a specific age to start at?? Im not saying that "teaching" them to smoke is bad but, what if they discover it on their own at age 13??? is that bad??
