The Ron Paul Thread

Im starting this thread for anybody that wants to discuss Ron Paul. I first met Ron last year during the presidential debates while he was running as a republican. He came up my way to a republican convention and I was invited to go. I had no idea who this guy or what he was about but the people I was going with had deep respect for him and so I did to. It was an amazing weekend with all sorts of exciting things to do.

Us guys went to a building with loud music and excited people. We walked around for a while meeting new people and bullshitting for a while before the night started. Once we were all seated I was sitting there wondering what to expect and when to applaud. When Ron came on stage I was wondering what I was getting myself into. I was against the older white guys running for presidency because if history repeated itself then he too would fuck my rights over. I WAS COMPLETELY WRONG!!!! He brushed up on all my personal thoughts from being free, getting rid of bureaucracies, ending the war on drugs, and bring all our guys home from the over 100 countries we are occupying.

Ron Paul is the future leader for those of us who want to be part of the revolution. He doesn't necessarily need to be president to change this country for the better. It is us, people like me and you, that has the power to shape the country. But without his leadership alot of us would not be sure how to use our grass roots powers to bring back our freedom.

i voted for him. in the caucuses and the general election, we were one of i think two states who had ron paul on the general ballot and his style of republicans are the most popular kind in the area i live in. i must say that i like the ron paul docterine alot. its just really hard to truly believe in all of it when the docterine itself garners such little action in our federal and most state governments.

its really hard to find a politician that believes in the utmost freedom of the American people without any restrains of federal government. He proposes to abolish the war on drugs and allow the states to decide what to do with the drugs. It is not the federal governments responsibility to make these laws but rather the states governments. And we all know that most states are leaning towards abolishing the war on drugs which started off as a grass roots initiative. It is us the individual people that have the power to rule this country. Its time to end the empire that weve built around the world and to start thinking as individual states rather as a power to rule the world.

I am going to do some research on Bob Barr. I hear he is somewhat like us but Ron Paul is the most like us.

Why did he not show up on the final ballot? Anyone who listens to him for 2 seconds can tell he's the right person for the presidency.

It's all about the benjamins. Ron Paul has a strong understanding of how the Federal Reserve (which was set up in secrecy) runs the country, not the laws not the Politations but the Fed runs the country. Politians do what the people who are paying them what them to do. The people that are paying the Republicans and Democrats control the media and banks.

Fox news wouldn't allow Ron Paul to participate in a Republican debate for the reasons listed above IMO. People like Ron Paul but since the media doesn't the public has a more difficult time learning about him. There weren't any profiles shown on TV like Obama had the privilege to and you haven't seen him on the covers of any magazines. Our current system represses people like Ron Paul because if ideas like his become a serious issue the bureaucrats way of life will become non-existent.

his name did appear on the ballot of every state he was asked to put his name on the ballot, which as mentioned before was two states.
