can i be honest with ya, if HR decided to est the department, thats ALOT of money to do this, i would be willing to bet they already planned to dismiss you and your coworkers, and this is a simple way for that to happen. I am sure your company has a drug and alcohol policy that you signed... I say this because that same thing happened where i work a number of years ago, almost the exact story you just told... They fired everyone of us, about 15 employees...
