Hey all, for those who are a fan / are curious about apple macs, they released their web browser for windows a few days ago. Im using it now and its pretty slick, worth checking out, the site is here: Apple - Safari 3 Public Beta

I've been looking into switching from PC to Mac. It's better with Firefox, but overall PCs are troublesome. I'll give Safari a run. Thanks for the info.

Yeah im getting a mac mini in october when osx 10.5 leapord comes out, deffinitely worth the wait for now.

Yea, I checked out that leopard demo on their site, it looks crazy innovative. I might as well wait, I've been looking for a decent priced iMac on ebay for months. They're pricey, but if they'll eliminate my crash, reboot, crash woes I have with Windows, it'll be worth it.

actually imacs are pretty cheap as is, less than 700 quid for a core 2 duo, 64 bit, its a sweet deal. id upgrade to 1Gb ram tho. Personally im goin for the mac mini, hdtv and xbox 360 combo, pretty sick setup.

Don't even mention xbox 360. I'm still sick my box died with the red ring of light a few months ago, hasn't worked since. I got it when they first came out, good while it lasted. Got it modded and everything, worthless now. Still think it's better than PS3, so I'll get another eventually. That does sound like a nice set up.
BTW: Safari is running significantly faster than Firefox on Vista. Good post.

Ah ye i heard about the red rings, apparently the now ones dont do that now. And hats off to apple for designing such wonderful software, osx is so simple u can use it stoned and still feel like ure in control
