I just want to say that our government is so fucking shit its unbelievable. it got me thinking, if u had the power to change anything for a day what would they be?

first of all, let me just say that governments make stupid amounts of money from taxes. especially in the UK. they charge 60 odd pence on fuel which is going up again (a second broken promise from gordon brown) to 76p duty tax. and that tax money doesnt have to be spend on roads, it can be used for hospitals etc etc.


let me list some of the things i would change that would make a difference.

Poverty is an issue. probably because our government is not giving us brits enough benefits. now u are probs thinkin, yeah u can get a shit load of money from benefits in UK which is why we have so many forigners.

so i would say, only benefits like income support and job seekers to ENGLISH people, no 1 else, get the fuck back to ur own country.

if foreigners want to work here, u would have to work a minimum of lets say 3 years on half minimum wage - that should put them off.

Drug abuse. in most places u will find needles lying round on parks and estates where single mothers will take their children to play.

solution? harder sentances to ANY one, no matter what age - except pot ofc and other drugs that are not really an issue.

tax to be spent better than on big wig's wages and bonus's. how about better roads around the UK? they have put the road tax up on 4x4 cars now. i fucking need a 4x4 to get down some of the roads.

god i could go on for ever, this government is so fucking shit, sometimes i believe i could run the country better and im only 22.

edit: reading this made me so angry and encouraged me to make this thread. it will probably make u feel the same if u have time to read it. i read about half of it. it was originally about bank charges but i kind of seen the bigger picture than money and bank accounts after reading it.

If i was govt for a day i would develop a system were our american tax dollars go towards something useful, like say universal health care, instead of funding a pointless war on terrorism.

Also i would make weed legal to grow yourself, WITHOUT a perscription

i'd make secret fraternaties illegal (judging by my spelling, i would also make literacy mandatory) i would also abolish the federal reserve.

I say NO GOVERNMENT at all.

I say we change the system so our fates are not decided by 'people in power' but by EVERYONE, by realtime contribution online.

The program would be written to support all the necissities for life.....anything further should be a personal choice and not dictated by ANYONE, least of all a 'government' who does know you or care about you.
