Default Whats is best for anxiety?
I have been diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder. I have had a lot of panic attacks in the past. I used to always smoke no problem, but now when I do I sometimes have a panic attack. it is not a pleasant experience at all. I feel like I'm dying. My doctor said the easy answer is to stop smoking, but I miss it.

To get to the point, what strains have you grown or smoked that have a more calming affect like xanax or valuim? Some people say indica is the answer, but others say that it makes them paranoid. Really I'm looking for a specific strain that I can grow and take like one hit of to relax. Thanks!

I have all the xanax and ativan and lexapro I could want, but that stuff is highly additive and you grow too tolerant of it. I just want to toke up and relax, so what is a good strain that anyone knows of for relaxing? thanks

maybe indica is the answer. I'm looking to be sedated rather than energetic. I can't even drink caffeine lol. My heart easily beats to fast when I smoke. Does indica make your heart beat fast?

P.S.-what is a good indica strain if you think that's the answer?

Iam sorry to say i have the same problem and didnt know it was a generalized anxiety disorder that realy freaks me out. Ive been smoking a good 13 years or more and have found this happening to me more and more over the last 5 years. Happend last night sometimes i think my hart is stopping or going to explode its horrid.

I will be keeping a good eye on this thread and what i have noticed is some types of hash dont seem to do it as bad. Last year i got hold of 1 oz of sticky indian hash that gave a real nice stoned with no anxiety. This stuff just isnt around all the time
