Be very wary of buying imported bud. What the unscrupulous dutch farmers are doing is throwing sand onto the buds a couple of weeks before harvest then spraying the same buds with water to set the sand in.

A simple way of telling if your bud has been contaminated with sand is to put a bit in your mouth and chew. After only a couple of seconds your mouth will be alive with the sound of crunching grit. i know this shit is back because i got offered some last night. Luckily i know about the chewing thing and i didn't buy it. Just a little tip for you U.K. heads out there, chew before you buy!

Yes the dutch farmers do it to gain extra weight to the buds before it is shipped over here. The dealers over here are not really to blame as many of them don't know about it. It's been around for years, and I reckon that everyone in England has smoked it at some point in their lives.

Also, recently this country has been suffering the worst drought for years. the dutch farmers have lost millions in lost product due to the tightening of the ports. Which in turn is the fault of terrorism. England relies heavily on dutch importation and with the farmers losing so much money they are trying to recoup some of it back.

hey fellas thats shockin, there is another thing like that here in tassie sum ppl spray their weak weed with a few cans of fly spray then it sets clear so when u smoke it jus the chemicals get u off ya face. this is called 'lacing' ive tried this stuff not on purpose (bad dealer) and it was not fun...

Could always be worse, up here in canada the gangs who grow the buds sumtimes spray them with windex to make em heavier. Now THATS shit.
