55 in a 25??? I am USA so that means you were doing 30MPH over the limit. We lose our license on the spot and go to jail for that. 25MPH zones are usually residential or bad road areas.
Be very happy your dumb ass only got a speeding ticket and didn't kill someone. Yea, your young and think your on top of the world...but a life sentence at 17 (as you would probably be charged as an adult as its only a year difference) is a very VERY long road to be on.
If you make it 30 years, I hope you look back and see how lucky and stupid you were.

The road has been posted at 45 for the past couple years and this past winter they were doing work on it and i guess the speed limit is still at 25 for some reason which is just plain out dumb but yeah im 17 and if its really that big of a deal BAN me and everyone who had something to say about failing or whats the point i was just asking what could happen besides fines and only one person could be mature and respond and tell me about the counseling
