I just got my local paper and found a small article thats reads as follows:
A HOARD of cannabis plants was found in the loft of a property in *****
by a locksmith. The locksmith, who had been changing the locks in the property after the tenants had been evicted on ******, alerted the police to the drugs, which amounted to 100 CANNABIS PLANTS. A 36 year old man from ***** has been arrested for cultivating cannabis and is on police bail until ******.

How bloody stupid! Words fail me.

Yes,that guy was an idiot for sure but what i dont get is why landlords are in such a rush to call the cops & create an enemy

You fuk with your tennants & a percntage of them come right back to fuk with you or the property,ive seen left over signs of a grow op before in one of my homes & i never said one single thing to the cops.

In the Uk the laws are absurd when it comes to property and tenants have ridiculous rights so landlords arent always the baddies. To evict someone in the Uk you have to inform the occupant of your intention, usually pinning an eviction order to the door. Then, the occupant has 30 days to oppose the eviction. When the 30 days are up the eviction order is enforced and the occupant has 30 days to leave. At the end of this time the occupant can be forcibly removed. I use the term occupant also as any empty house can be squatted in and the squatters have the exact same rights as a legal tenant, which is crazy imo. So basically the minimum this guy would have had to make his grow 'disappear was 60 days' !!!!!!

atleast he cuda grinded up all the plants in a blender or wit a weed wacker if he cudnt move em.. god dam now he gona sit in jail for mad time to nothin
