brought it home and fired up the cutting torch and tried my hand at glass blowing. the first one shattered just about the time i was trying to finish. the second one i finished but it has cracks. i smoked out of it though. nice little hash pipe.

i've been looking for the perfect hash pipe. i'll just make my own now. it would have cost me 30 dollars at the glass shop to buy one. if i come out of this with 3 or 4 working pieces then i'm ahead of the game. i think i may invest in a nice torch.

Do you get the glass at a hobby place , a special tempered glass..?

Fdd don't you have a rose bud in your tool box wouldn't that make the glass more even on the temp????

I've been wanting to get into blowing glass badly. Just too much work to do on the opp, still. It seems like a difficult hobby. You think after a couple more tries you'll be able to churn em out pretty easily?
