I have an old school wooden grinder with stainless steel pins. We tend to scrape it out after every half ounce or so. Otherwise it just won't grind properly. Unfortunately I dropped the ball just before the laws changed over here in Queensland (banning bong and paraphernalia sales), so I didn't buy any new bongs or grinders or vaporisors or anything. I'll be in NSW in the new year (heading to Nimbin/Mullumbimby), so I think I'll invest in some new tools then.

In your lungs when you smoke your ground up weed. I don't have a trichome catcher on my grinder...I just scrape it out on occasion. Same result, different method.

Thats pretty cool im going to try that, people get scared about knocking a couple trichs off, if it good enough weed it should still work, then you can take a small bowl and pile keif ontop and get much higher

Oh i agree that it removes them, i guess i should have mentioned that i normally dont use a grinder to break up my bud, just chunks in my bowl. So i guess the grinder is a random thing for some quick kief for me, but i agree i wouldnt use a grinder everyday
