Have you ever tried to draw, or paint a picture, write poetry while you are high?
i think that cannabis just inhibits our left brain, so the right brain can awake, we have creativity, sense for art, spacial relations, but also we lack logic, aritmetic calculus, and writing which are located in the left brain
to prove this i drew my self-portrait while high, i think it was pretty good considering my drawing abilities, just a little above normal but not too much
