does this statement still ring true? Taken from the Grow Faq section:

Just looking for opinions and / or experiences. Seems it would be a waste of Leo resources to track a personal growers online credit card spending etc when it could be legit expeditures with the growth of home gardens for non-illegal crops.

Buy from a large nursery or garden supply company rather than a "hydro" store if you are THAT paranoid OR if you have a prior criminal record. In most instances they need some sort of a probable cause to proceed.

Buying a grow light isn't against the law and isn't probable cause for a search warrant. If they're watching you THAT closely you are ALREADY TOAST!!

The REAL "golden rule" is having said equipment...WHEREVER purchased, SENT TO AN ADDRESS WHERE THERE IS ***NO GROW*** happening WHATSOEVER and where the recipient has NO CRIMINAL RECORD.

That makes sense...only tough thing is having it sent to another address and then the person who is getting the stuff knows what is going on. Not sure if its safer to have it sent to where there is a grow or have it sent to someone who will then know what is going on...if that makes sense
But yeah...I think it is a little paranoid to worry if you do not have a record already

Good point...it does involve someone else in the mix to have a "safe address" such as I described.

The other option is to borrow someone's car who has no record/grow, etc
and head to the hydro store. Chances are GOOD that the store *isn't* being watched but you can never be too careful in this game and this is one way to trip em up if there is something going on.

I used to feel paranoid alot now i know if they are looking at me its too late, i used the net at first to order supplys. now NO WAY and NO WAY will i swipe. i even feel crazy spending the cash i do. running across town with Co2 cyls and food geez.

I even made sure that the address on my id and such has no link to anything.
I am actually looking at opening a small grade nursery to help report and write off some of these expences.

The money end is totally different from the criminal charges, so your protection should be the most important thing. so while your rotting in club fed the feds are trumping up more tax charges on you. your playing with your life and your freedom for a puff. is it worth it? Grow medical or grow smart
