So my friend sends me a text today saying he got a hurricane...I was like wtf, then he says it's a $700 bong. After some research, this is what I found: Hurricane Bongs Hurricane Showcase Video
The second link is to a promo video for them that describes how they work. They look pretty damn sweet.
Is this just another bong maker trying to cash-in on being the most expensive glass? Or is it really the best bong that one can possibly smoke out of?
Anyone ever heard of these? Seen one? Smoked out of one?  |

IMHO, a bong's a bong. If it goes through water, then that's it. The next step up has to be a vaporizer. How can you have a bong that is worth more money than a high quality vaporizer? I just don't see how they're any better. The smoke goes through water.

I certainly notice a big difference between when I have smoked out of a RooR and when I have smoked out of a regular bong purchased a the local head shop. The Roor is so much smoother, has better airtight seals with the glass on glass instead of rubber on glass, and the hits go down very smooth.
I know that the price difference between a regular bong and a Roor is worth it, I just wonder how much better than a Roor this thing could possibly be? |

It may enhance the smoking experience, but I'm sayin', the smoke just goes through water. No healthier than any other smoke that goes through water.
