i got a digital scale last night, not sure if its calibrated right tho. This delima brings me to my question, i hear a dollar weighs out to a Gram or 1. and a nickle weighs 5 grams. is this true or does anyone know any better methods?

That is tried and true. I have used those two things to calibrate my digis for a while.

I always go for a nickel first though because if a dollar is torn or worn out really bad it might be .9

I've always used the nickle calibration.

nickel is the best because a dollar can easily blow off and etc...nickel is nice and sturdy and should weigh that 5
