I recently ran across a thread about someone wanting to grow in a standard shipping container, the ones that they ship goods oversea with

After about an hour online just scrolling, and looking up info on them I found some interesting shit.
Not only have ingenious stoner's managed to make underground grow rooms out of them, but people actually build houses out of them too!

I guess you can get a 40' footer for as cheap as a $G a piece, and make some pretty sweet homes, or vacation spots for relatively low cost.

Here's some interesting links to more info and videos/pics about shipping container homes.

damn they got these mini cabins too

Thats pretty dope. You could lock the kids in there and not get in trouble with the HRS because its not technically a closet. Can they soundproof it too?

On another note, I found 20 foot containers for $1200 a few hours from home and I already have a plasma cutter, a few welders and grinders. I think I make a go of it, if getting it to the property is cheap enough. I have a shit ton of 12V sailboat shit including solar panels and a wind generator too. It just sounds too easy and too cheap to not try it.
