LOL... I don't drink any coffee past noon. I try to not drink soda at all.... but I might have a diet coke in the afternoon... but absolutely no caffine after 6:00pm or I'd never get to sleep.

I travel a lot for work and hotel coffee is NASTY!!! So my first concern every morning on my way in to a client's office is "WHERE THE FUCK IS STARBUCKS??"




LOL... nope... doesn't make me edgy. Now remember... I've been drinking the sludge for over 20 years.... when I first started drinking coffee one cup gave me the jitters.... I've just built up a tolerance.

As for heart problems... Nope... I run 3 miles four days a week and 8 miles on Saturday. All in the morning before I have my coffee and all on a treadmill (pavement too hard on my old knees). I also lift weights so I stay in pretty good shape. I'm sure my doctor would like me to cut out the caffine and maybe one of these days I will..... I just don't know how I'll survive without it

Lol true about the first part, I remember when I did property maintanince I had a friend rodney that in 100 degree weather would be smokin a cig and washing down the smoke with a black coffee. That used to make me cringe everytime.

I'll have a large hot coffee about an hour before I go to the gym. Then right before I get to the gym I stop and get a large iced coffee for my workout. As I'm heading into work I pickup another large coffee for the train ride. Once inside the city, you guessed it, one more large coffee. Now I'm ready to DEAL WITH THE AHOLES ALL AROUND ME. LOL Oh yeah just like someone else said, "It makes me piss big time."
I just started trying to cutback by one of those big ones. Hoping to get down to one just for the workout. If I remember correctly the last time I quit coffee for awhile, I got some fucking nasty headaches.
I savor the taste of coffee and yes coffee ice cream is the joint (I also coarsely grind up 2 beans and mix it with the pint).
If I drink too much Starbucks coffee is when I get jittery. I believe they have the highest caffeine content out there.

That sounds like my father-in-law. His fingers are stained from the tobacco, and what teeth remain are stained by the coffee (and likely the tobacco as well). I have even seen that man pick up squished butts in a parking lot if he's run out and smoke those.

I really don't care for Starbucks' coffee. It tastes like cigarette ashes to me.

my work has peets coffee, its pretty good, but still.

What sucks is I'm about to go poor a cup because I didn't get enough sleep last night and if I don't drink some coffee I'll end up posting on RIU all day instead of hitting the phones and closing some deals.

I only need like 1/4 - 1/3 of a cup and after the first few drinks I can feel that shit kicking in. Sometimes I'm like, damn, and this shit is legal.

Coffee it is, and then in an hour or two I'll head home and hit the vape to mellow out

I'm good, so I love this shit. I set my own hours, take breaks whenever I want. Its like being your own boss.

Most people can't hang, I do pretty high pressure tele sales in the real estate market.

Just means I have job security, LOL, unless the economy crashes. But I can sell snow to eskimos, ketchup popsicles to women in white dresses, all that jazz so I'm not worried.

I get ya. I'm good at it, but just detest the whole process. Soft sales was my thing, I can make you "know" you need that thing even before you knew you needed it. It takes a special kind of person to love sales, I think. But in RE...? That's workin' ok for you at this time, eh? All the people I know in RE and related have taken a huge hit in the past year or so.
