so when I usually smoke I just either rip the bud apart lazily with my fingers or just throw in whole buds at a time. Now it has recently come to my attention that this is wasting weed so I was wondering what people thought about grinders and what their personal preferences were. thanks peeps

I personally think it's easier to just break the herb up by hand instead of fiddling with a little contraption.. But I like those kind that catch the keif... or w.e it's called. If you do get one, get a good quality one. I had this little wooden one I got from a store in the city, and it broke like a few weeks after I got it.

Diamond Grind is a good brand. You can find some of their really expensive shit for like $10-15 on Ebay.


I personally have 2-3 cheapo plastic grinders, they work well. I also have an antique coffee grinder I use. I do whole buds in that thing, stems and all. Brings it all down into a nice little fine powder.. mm mm mm.

I have a small SharpStone 2.2" black and I love it, if you smoke a lot is a great invest and you will have all kief at the bottom

Also after grinding the weed it will burn (or vaporize) really easy

get a mendo mulcher. without a doubt worth the money. Fucking amazing grinder. I'm gonna upgrade to a full one with keif catcher soon, but I can tell you that the workmanship is excellent, and it grinds buds amazingly well. you won't be dissapointed
