It triggers your gag reflex? I've found this happening to me lately, when I take maybe a little too big of a bong rip. I'm afraid it's a sign to ease up on the 'erb.

I've taken the last two days off from smoking, attempting to let myself heal up from 4/20, but right now I'm smoking a bowl because I can't fucking get to sleep. I've been hacking up mucus/blood ever since the 420 massacre, I'm scared.

yes, i do. i'm having my tonsils removed next week to HOPEFully clear this problem up. my tonsils cause other issues but add a good cough to it and i'm dry heaving. i've talked to my dr. about the cough-to-gag issue and he says it is common. i'm not a dr. so i don't know what that actually means. common for your average cancer victim? i don't know.

Yeah, I'm just really sketched out by it all. It scares the fuck out of me. I'm pretty sure my insides have gotten torn up pretty bad, really quickly, and something might be infected like in my throat. Maybe tonsilitus or something. Those two bumps on your throat on opposite sides of the top of your adam's apple, I think they're lymphnodes or something, well mine have been swollen for what seems to be like weeks or maybe a month, and it's been happenning on and off.

I'm just feelin' like it's abnormal shit and I'm getting all fucked up in my throat/lungs. I tore my shit up over the weekend, probably more so than I ever have.

I'm hopin' that I can just ease WAY up on the smoking, but not have to like totally stop to like, heal up. I'll bet if I just smoke less, my shit will just get torn up slower. idk what's up.

no need ot ease up bro, just take smaller hits. i had a REALLY REEEEEALLY bad cold/cough. i coughed so hard i pulled my lat muscle on the side of your back kinda, and everytime i coughed i swear i wanted to cry. and i still smoked so much weed haha i just took smaller hits so i didnt cough.until my bro made me smoke his keefe. now THAT hurt lol. hope everything goes good man.

when i first started smoking mass hash i tore something in my neck. i couldn't talk and had trouble breathing. it was from being so sore. the muscles. the strain on the neck, then add throat irritation, maybe a slight grass allergy, top it off with mass hits. ouch. yeah, it took me awhile to figure it out. i thought i had strep throat. then i talked to a lady at the cannabis club and she said it was from coughing. your nodes fight off infections and bad things. when they swell they are fighting. i just had a needle stuck in mine 3 times in the same node within 10 mins. they had to pump the needle to get cell samples. i don't mean to worry you. i do have other issues. sorry 'bout that.
back off the smoke. maybe eat it. gargle with warm salt water and keep your mouth clean and fresh. relax and try not to strain your neck. hopefully in a couple days you will feel better.

Man Im usually one of the only ones in the session coughin up a storm...maybe because Im still young it hasn't effected me too badly yet. However I do get the gag reflex....in my area we call it paraquating...Ive had this one really really bad incident where I was driving to go pickup my date...and she lives roughly 20miles away..and Im smoking a blunt to the dome...and I had this vicious cough after hittin it...I start gaggin and chokin...next thing you know I hawk up this gigantic wad of spit and it lands right on the middle of my black button up shirt...shit sucked..I had to definitely change my shirt cause once that loogie dried up it looked like a big'ol sperm stain...

That's is some HILARIOUS SHIT there! My brother smokes and he usually always gags and starts running to the bathroom to spit out these huge loogies so I usually get a little alone time with me and mary, nothing like some quality time with my friend mary.

But switching the topic real quick sometimes when I take a hit ( usually first smoke of the day) my eyes shut for like 10-20 seconds and it's impossible to open them up, it's like I'm looking directly into the sun for that period of time.

Does this happen to anybody else or am I the only one?
