Shit tha more u cough it jus means that u takin good ass hits and u gettin high, aint nun wrong with coughin when u smoke, is hard not to when u smokin some good ass shit especially and if u takin a big ass hit like I always do, everytime I take a hit from a bong I finish tha whole dam bowl in one hit, and with blunts and j's I take tha biggest hits I can take, nun wrong with coughin..

Usually the first hit of the day I cough a little bit. Then towards the end of the session, when I get really high, I think I get so high sometimes I just want to stop smoking so I'll stop coughing... lol.

yeah, the whole "don't hold it in - hold it in" thing tickles me a bit, as everyone sais, and doctors say, it doesn't get you higher, but, as other people say, they feel higher, then as other people say, it's oxygen deprivation, well if thath's the case, i wouldn't mind suffocating one bit, as that apparent deprivation, i could fly to the moon on that feeling when i'm holding it in, as opposed to just blowin it out.

as to coughing, never, only time i will cough is if you get me to run a mile at full speed then start hitting the strong stuff

You sound like someone I would not like smoking with no offense. I absolutely HATE when I match people and they do not follow courtesy. The purpose of matching is so you each get the same amount of weed, and when I take greens and take only a mediocre hit to be courteous, then the other person goes and flames the entire bowl leaving me with a little bit of res, it makes me boil with rage. This wasn't directed at you VGS, just venting a bit.

But anyways, I always hold my smoke in no matter how bad it hurts, and only coughed for about the first two weeks I smoked if that. On the whole debate of holding it in vs. breathing out, I love holding it in and feeling the smoke inside my lungs. I usually zero 3/4s of my hits, and while it may not be good for my brain, I'm high so I really don't care.

i usually hold it in too...i thought it got me higher..guess u learn something new everyday..thanks GrowT... n eways i think those grinder with the kief chambers are the way to go..makes smoking so much easier/better of an experience for me.. the only shit that makes me cough like i wanna die, is hash , and honey oil.. well and a big hit, that i hold in too long..
