Yes and no. You can't hide the smell of pot but you can throw him way off. He is a dog, they are primitive animals. Of course the best answer is find another place to store it but if you must keep it in the dorm rub it on every surface you possibly can. This will confuse the shit out of the dog and the handler because he will be hitting on everything. Your shoes, the carpet, your dresser....everything. Cats are also good and so is food. Bacon grease is an old trick but any kind of drippings from meat will do. Remember they train these dogs so that they think they are playing, they think they are "fetching" the ball for their master. For them, food, sex and cats are going to be much, much more important than playing with their master.

Well, the first thing you need is serious scentproofing. get a waterproof camera case. If it's normal sized it'll hold an ounce easy. If you find a large one (video camera size) for cheap you could theoretically put everything in there.

well they don't make tiny camera cases, I never have more than a half, but it's completely and utterly airtight (it has to protect fragile technology under hundreds of pounds of pressure and water, it's COMPLETELY airtight).

i got pulled over one time, and i didnt have eye drops so my eyes were cashed and i was soo blazed so i got searched and i had about 4 grams under my seat in a perscription pill bottle and the dog didnt sniff it out. either the dog was retarded or those work good. i can never even smell a hint of bud in those. so id put your bud in those and stash it on the opposite side of your room away from the door and you should be good.
