GD VS GDP?

Is there a difference or is it the same strain?

GD-Green?
GDP-Purple?

they're both a bomb smoke, never had em myself, but I've smoked em at parties.

if you want any money there's a huge premium for the purp, if it's personal it's totally your shot. I'd think that the purp would be more indica dominant compared to the regular grandaddy, but I'm not sure

I have seen different grandaddys. I think they are just more basic strain that havent been hybrid that much. Like I had some Garberville Grandaddy that was BOMB. Like some of the best looking and tasting smoke I ever had and it was dried and cured to perfection

All just name. Sometime the names are put on there to sell. A lot of bud will have the same name on accident too. I have seen several godzillas now that I am growing one and all are really different....

The grand daddy I got is definitely green,not purple at all. Its definitely confusing at times but I know its definitely an Indica based strain. I prefer sativa's due to insomnia, but I can definitely pleasure smoke for taste on any GDP. Grand Daddy Vs Grand Daddy Purple? For me, grand daddy and grand daddy purple will always taste like candy, and candy is always good!

back in 2006 the street was flooded with gdp here every dealer i went to had it. it looked like some fire, the nugs was the purplest i've ever seen but the smoke was very weak. it was pissin me off cuz every dealer only had gdp.

We had a kinda purple epidemic here too with 'purple kush' which was purple as shit but not really that strong of a smoke, though it did knock you out and put you to sleep pretty consistently. I kind of suspect it was just purple power or some other commercial purple strain. Shit was everywhere though for like two-three weeks, I was getting sick of it. I hear the GDP is really good though, Ive never had it though. I had some Purple Urkle that was pretty good but not worth the price tag. People are really into that color on weed for some reason, though, even if its not that good.
