supposedly there is a study that says marijuana will cause women to be unfaithfull to their spouces/boyfriends

maybe someone else knows more about the argument... i just wanted to hear what you all think about all that noise

i could see the lowered inhibitions casueing infedelity, however the lowering of inhibitions is something generaly associated with alchohol. so in that case alchohol should be made illegal faster.

another point... the study didnt say anything about men being unfaithful when stoned... just women... a little sexist of them huh?

i think if a woman is going to cheat its cuz shes unhappy in a relationship... getting stoned is not "the deal breaker"...

i could see pot helping someone decide that they were truely unhappy in a relationship... but thats a revulation not lowered inhibitions...

that would be my point... there are to many other pharmasudicals <(spell check please ... lol) that noone knows already have a bad name and yet they still get prescribed... so they try to put a REALY bad name on a plant thats good for you... my wife and i disscussed this and it was more likly for her to want to "whoop someones ass for hitting on her" while she was stoned than it was for her to be unfaithful when she is stoned... the general idea being that pot makes you more aware of what is going on around you on a deeper level and (for most) keeps you out of situations that would even lead to temptation much less that it would be the soul cause of infudelity...

maybe if they just stoped generalizing it alltogether and said something like... "you just gotta try it, use descresion, and realize it WILL change how you think and feel" arguments like this would never even have a chance in hell to be imagined much less used like this...
