I saw a thread a couple days ago about these diffuser beads and the video's on you tube about them. Has anyone tried these or improvised marbles or rocks? Seems like a good idea, the bubble should split when it hits one of the beads........

Bong School How to Give Rep

Ok. So I went to Michael's today and bought a 1lb assortment of plastic, non-toxic beads. brought it home and filled my fav bong up with beads and water, NO ice. This bong is a complete bitch without water, so, I figured it's a good test. Well, I smoked 2 grams of Skunkberry out of it b4 I remembered the test. LoL It certainly smoothed the hit out, I'm going to try these beads out for a while and let ya know my final opinion.

From what I can tell, the diffuser beads will replace a diffuser tube. essentially they are two different ways of achieving the same thing.... cooler smoke. yes it does work. The smaller the beads the better...marbles will work but not nearly as well. It's all about breaking up the smoke bubbles. here's a nice link to some glow in the dark glass beads. I think they would look pretty cool in a bong. They have a hole in the center so i give that a plus as well.

If you already have a diffuser down tube than you shouldn't go for the beads.
