Who's going? Who's been?

I went to the Toronto march last year, what a fucking blast. Great music, plenty of food, and 25,000 people smoking in Queens Park (the lawn of the Provinical Parliament). This year I'm heading down to the Halifax march, hoping it will be just as good. Anyone here go in 2006?

Sounds cool, and theres one very close in Raleigh. but it seems like a very good place for cops to hang out. What are the benefits? What goes on at this event that a stoner would enjoy, is it just a parade?

I don't know if it's different for every city, but at Toronto it was a protest march and then the gathering at Queens Park. When there's 20,000 people the cops don't really do too much, but all the same, don't be a heat score on your way there. There are food booths, speeches from organizations, bands, and then a big group smoke at 4:20.

The organizers of the Halifax one don't have a website with info at the moment, but I emailed them and it looks like they plan to have a DJ, info tables, a BBQ, and stuff like that.
