yea but its not your balls on the chop block... i wouldnt want to chance it unless i seriously covered my odor.

bra fuck that dog you can only do your best to keep the odor down he could just think you smoking n a cop cant kick ya door in for that.

one time I was smoking a blunt and taking a walk with my friend's. when I had the blunt in my hand, a K-9 unit vehicle with a dog in the back pulled in the drive way literally right in front of us...so, being high and not thinking straight, I put the blunt out in my hand and burned the shit out of myself. the dog was going nuts but it turned out that the cop lived in that house. I called the dog a homo

Aside from what's been said so far:

Consider getting a cat.

Even a highly trained k9 can be completely thrown off by the smell or presence of a cat or other animals. You can also buy that deer pee stuff that's made for hunters or any other type of animal scents like that and spray that stuff outside all around your house and yard.

IF the dog ever alerted it would be to that stufff rather than your front door.

Which is why I suggested filtering well and venting out through the attic as well as researching the topic further in my first post.

A few years back a friend had a similar setup: high CFM inline fans, a good filter system and ducts running into the attic and out just under the eaves. Even with a 6'x6' space filled with 4' plants nearing harvest, no odor could be detected anywhere inside the house, or in the surrounding area outside. He also had a cop living across the street and a couple doors down, it wasn't a K-9 though.
