All that is around here is stemmy-ass mexican shit weed and some mids that I have to pay $60 bucks for just to get a (light) eighth. What the fuck?

I must just not know the right people. I live in Raleigh, NC and that is not a terribly small city. Also, Duke, UNC and NCSU universities all within 30 miles. So I know there must be better weed around here somewhere. I guess I'm going to have to start hitting the bars more often and trying to spot tokers to befriend. I don't know... maybe this area of the country just has no good weed. In Cali I got a fat quarter of high quality trainwreck for $60. That I could deal with.

All I know is I"m never again paying $60 for a few grams of mids again. I would rather just be dry. I had been dry for a while, so I decided to give the one dealer I know in town another try. I came back from his house feeling like I had been raped. It's just not fucking worth it.

Alright, I'm done venting. Sorry about that. I need to move the west coast.

Thats the breaks dude, the MM states have better grass unless you grow your own.

edit: though I have to say I pay $65 for an 8th of better than mids but not primo stuff. I have bad connects. So there's probly good deals out there in NC, you just gotta find em! I just can't wait for the move to NorCal. Finally get to smoke some of the best anywhere!

I'm in school at UNC. You're telling me all this stuff is all around me!? Damn... I need to get out with my classmates more. Maybe its because I'm in the law school. Law students may tend to be a little more hush hush outside their circle of close friends, because the State Bar can delay or deny them a license if it gets reports of illegal drug use.

I could see why that would keep mouths closed. Just look for red gold and green.

Right on. I've got a couple of Afghan ladies on some land way outside town right now. If the deer and the rain stay in check, maybe I'll get a harvest. I don't do anything grow related in my condo, so I'll be drying and everything outside. So there is plenty of ways Mr. Murphy could shit on me.

I've had a rough go at growing. First tried last year, and got all males. This year I planted all my last 8 seeds to make sure I'd get a female, and a flash flood took away all the plants. I found two under a bush downstream two days later. Nursed them back to health. So these are my miracle girls... I'm hoping for at least a couple oz... that would probably do me for a year at the rate I smoke... I'd have to put some of that shit in the freezer.

We'll see. Finding some toking buds would be cool too though, in addition to having a hookup for good strains.
