Whats the likelihood of getting a virus ftrom these torrent things? Cause my pa doesnt let me use kazaa or anything for virus risks so is this any safer?

just like downloading from any other thing, there is always a risk of getting something but I cant recall getting anything yet and its been about a year and a half..... alot more then I can say for when I was using kazaa. Just make sure your anit-virus is updated.

and getting stuck at 99.9% does SUCK! I hate that. If I am downloading cds I just delete the song that didnt finish and then find it by itself and add it to my folder that way its like you have it all the way finished.

Yeah man I use vuze which was formerly azureus. And I used thepiratebay.com as my search. Can get great amounts of music. All I ever download now is full artist discographies. That plus movies and games, thats why i have a small 30gb out of 300gb left on my external.

I had to get a second external. I think im somewhere around 3000 cds right now, maybe more when I get home and see what my girl and kids have been getting

I want to get into torrents, I've wanted to for a while because I want to watch how high. are torrents safe or should I worry about viruses
