Competing Sites
The internet is a big place, and it's no surprise that from time to time a site will come along whose mission is to occupy the same niche as Rollitup. We have no issue with that. However, it would be against our best interests, and therefore the best interests of our members, for us to allow such sites to build upon our popularity by promoting themselves on Rollitup. Therefore, no competing site may attempt to gain traffic from Rollitup in any way, including but not limited to, links in posts, signatures, profile information, PM's, emails, or IM's.

any traffic that means no links to other sites in PM's E-mails and IM's so he must be checking. or this rule is unfounded.

no one is "checking".

why the rule then?

i understand the rules on abusive behaviour some of the other rules are just nonsense anyone wanting to cause problems is going to do so rules or not so it's just to keep the regular user's on their toe is it. it make me unconformable and that what really naff's me off i loved this place i liked to call it home and now i am on tender hooks wondering weather my account will be closed due to a slip of my fingers.

Shit I push the limits, but shit..you have to know where to stop..pushing just for pushing sake is a waste of time and a failing proposition.. HE with the button rules.. I get pissed, I swear, but I try..(not always succeeding) to stop just short..

there are some people that can not articulate themselves as well as others and find profanity's a norm are you to outcast them for their mode of speech or lack of vocabulary.

if you look in my previous thread you will see my main concerns.

i would have liked to answer that penultimate post in that thread but was cut short.
can you see why that thread was closed bar the obvious.
RIU does not want to be questioned about his regime.

i am going to watch some TV for a bit i may cool down a bit but i would like other peoples opinions on the subject.

You were not cut short. How many of these threads do we really need on here questioning or bashing the rules? The rules have been posted as a reminder to all members. If you don't like them or can't abide by them you will not be welcome here simple as that.
