Anti-drug associations never focus on the good points of drugs in as much detail as they do with the bad points. It seems completely biased to be an anti-drug association purely based on the fact that there are downsides and comedowns to drugs, as with anything.
How foolish does this sound. One could set up say an 'anti-relationships' company, simply pointing out all the downfalls to being in a relationship; the restriction of freedom to an extent, the lack ofvariation. the list is long.
Obviously, you are thinking 'but in the truly ideal relationship there would be basically no downsides, and even if there were they would be few, and more than made up for by the good points in the relationship'
This 'ideal relationships' organic counterpart is marijuana, there are basically no downsides, and there are countless good points. Anyone who has a negative opinion of marijuana has either never tried it, or has had a not particularly pleasant first experience, which is to be expected.
They should state in full clarity with testimonials from users, the good points of drugs. Allow people to form their own opinions, before They force their acclaimed 'causes brain damage' and 'will lead to harder drug use' facts upon people.
I can see where they're coming from when they talk about crack and meth in a bad light, their cons can outweigh the pro's quite often. To me, that doesn't seem like something i want to be taking routinely. But people have their reasons. Whereas, with marijuana, it simply doesn't fall under the same category as other drugs.
To be blunt, i suggest they go home, spark up, put on some marley and re-consider their opinions on an anti-drug world.
