use an eye-r-see chat client, like MiRc or Xchat on windblows 7 or XP
or Xchat BitchX on Linux
it is much better for various reasons than using that silly web based java rubbish

So I downloaded the newest Java, and it is showing the chat window, but it still won't connect, no matter how much I try. =[
Any suggestions for that??

What browser are you using? What version?
yeah, its broken for a lot of people. been waiting for admin to fix it for like a month (obviously the new java chat blows and is flawed if many people cant enter for the same reason)
well from people i talked to u got to download like 1/2 a dozen things then have a degree in computer programming to make it all work
i tried and got so pissed i said fuck that raggedy ass system
maybe they could look into a more user friendly system hint hint
The adventures you have gone through trying to get into chat will prove to be far more enjoyable and interesting that the actual chat itself. IOW, you aren't missing anything.
