window light

I want to start a new grow using window light, anybody have any tools to help me out with this? I am located in northeastern part of the U.S. My apartment gets great lighting, but I am worried about not enough light at night. Can I mix less with the natural light throughout the day?

i get great window light in my apartment, however i am a month deep into my growing, ive been using a 500w led in my house but its not enough, my plants are tiny for being 4 weeks. Is there a way to transition them to using my window light? obvi not put them under direct light at first to avoid...
