ZenithXalaga's stealth AK-48 PC grow (w/ free sarcasm)

Day 18
LAST DAY OF 24/0

So today has marked a milestone in this grow, at 5pm the lights will go out. I took out two 6500k lights and replaced them with 2 26W 2700k lights. In a week or so I will take out the remaining 6500k lights and replace those as well. And in two weeks I should have 42Watters to replace the 26Watters with.

I gave Stubby a good watering just now. I'll check it's ph tomorrow though I doubt it has changed any.

I tried to take pics of the preflowers but my camera doesn't focus on them and it is seriously getting crowded in that thing, you can't actually tell how many leaves it has from the pictures.

The smell is also starting to get skunky. You only smell it when you put your nose to it, but it's going away from the 'plant' smell.

Yeah Zenith i agree with you man, im looking at just some small bong/bowl tokes right now, but if i got 20 ID BE GLAD TO ROLL UP A JOINT HEHE

Can't complain about it. I'm actually wondering how any light is going to reach the bud sites because the node spacing is so tight and leaves cover them all up lol

wow zenith that thing is super tightly noded. Looks awesome man, great job nursing her back to health after the heat stress fiasco.

dang didnt know it was on 24/0 for that long. i usually keep a plant on 24/0 for the first 4ish days of life then go to 20/4 for a week then 18/6 for veg. just me though. looking good though mang!!

Dammit! My mom is canceling our internet service cause she wants to upgrade to dsl but its going to be a few months before its even in our area! Damn contracts.. guuuh ill try and update somewhere but if I don't post for a while you know why lol

Hey Zenith, Stubby is looking great, I see she bounded back quickly from the heat stress. You right about not topping her because of the stress she has already encountered. You are going to yield more than 10 grams off Stubby, she's going to be a bush You can start tying down those fan leaves so the bud sites can get light. I had to do that with Joni, her fan leaves were blocking the bud sites from getting light.

Just a quick question on your post, i thought the fan leaves were what is supposed to get the light, and not the bud sites? I might be mistaking, thought i've seen that somewhere though

Ahh that sucks man, I'd go crazy.. but on the plus side it'll be awesome to see how much she has grown when you finally get to post some pics!

And to answer your question Milly, it is good for the fan leafs and side shoots to get light.. light to the shoots promotes strong secondary growth, and light to the fan leafs allows them to grow large and store more energy for the plants overall growth. For small but bushy grows like ours its good to space everything out for optimal light across the entire plant.. I hope that helped, I'm high

Thanks Freebird, I couldn't begin to answer Millyy's question! But the lower leaves get light now which will increase their growth as well.
