Zeitgeist is an interesting documentary covering aspects from religion, 9/11 and the war to the federal reserve system among other things. I would not go as far as to say that this documentary is enlightening, but it really gets you thinking. I enjoyed watching it and I HIGHLY recommend watching this, especially after smoking a fat blunt or a few bong hits. post your views and conceptual thoughts after watching, discuss your input with other members.

Introduction

YouTube - Zeitgeist - The Movie - 1 of 13 (Introduction)

Part 1 of religion

YouTube - Zeitgeist - The Movie - 2 of 13 (Part 1 of 3 on Religion)

and you can skip to whichever parts you would like to watch.

indeed. what do you think? is the information presented over exaggerated? The 9/11 segment made me sick to my stomach and very angry. I found the theories presented to be ingenious and realistic. The evidence is over whelming as is the retort provided by the government on it's own behalf - which is nonexistent.

yeah, same here. I believe that the government was responsible for 9/11 and the stuff they have on the federal reserve system...learned it in high school. the religion part was really interesting and although I always thought that religion ruined God and humanity in general, I can't buy into that. I can accept some of it, but when it comes to religion, even if you are trying to counter it, I just will not settle for any truth except for what I believe myself.

Zeigeist is for the most part propoganda, but has important points. I recommend watching Esoteric Agenda if you found Zeigeist interesting. It is about 2 hours long & available on Google & Youtube. Esoteric Agenda is mind blowing in comparsion, but is also mostly propoganda. You have to view these movies through completly open eyes & the truth will reveal itself.

what isn't propaganda? some of the crap in themsm turns out to be more propaganda than some of these"propaganda vids" I get what your saying it just seems the term propaganda can be used to describe just about anything. Back in the day a piano builder wanted to sell more pianos. Insted of advertising pianos he pushed adds that showed famous ppl's homes in shows, magazines etc. Once the general public seen that the rich had what we would now call a music room they started building them into all the new suburban homes, and in the end if you have a home with a music room you need a PIANO!

that documentary is absolutely mind blowing. i dont think any of it was over done, or exaggerated in any way to be honest with you. i thought it was reasonably toned down for the information presented. I think that the 9/11 footage was sickening as well. I cant believe that any government could do that to its own people. but then again...it is bush...it scared the shit out of me. one thing canadians fear A LOT is being more like the united states...(no offense meant to americans...ur not all messed up...just ur country) I really hope that the whole "merging" of the US, canada, and mexico never happens...and if it does...well...i guess i'll be moving to europe...

i do actually...it just suits my tastes more...hard to explain really...i'll probably end up going either way simply for a change of scenery. and i think that France might be a good place to go, either that or Italy...maybe the UK. I also think Australia would be nice...

I used to live in Italy and it is very different from America. The general mannerisms and attitudes, a lot of other things are different. it's a great country, though. I was so happy while I lived there. only, marijuana is illegal there and the laws are very strictly enforced, more so there then in America. you could get away with doing coke, though, if you're into that. I had a lot of friends (I was 12-14 while I lived there) doing coke. it's less popular now, though.

Saw Zeitgeist a while a go and until I did never even knew the 3rd tower/building was 'blown up'. Knowhere in the British media was it mentioned! My cousin is a structural engineer and always said the way the towers fell shouldnt have happened from an impact towards the top of the building. Now I am very unsure what really happened, I just find it an incredibly extreme plan for the US govt to carry out just to scare their people into allowing wars across the globe with no q's asked. Who knows? Bush and Cheney were capable of anything, how were they ever voted in?

Not sure what you mean about no Q's asked? you just said in the same post "Now I am very unsure what really happened?" Means your questioning it. This thread wouldn't be here if it weren't being questioned. Other governments want their own separate investigations, their questioning it. Funny how it took watching a "conspiracy" video for you to learn the truth about tower 3.

s for bush cheney being "voted" in. that's a whole other issue. I don't believe they were voted in. the elections appeared to be a debacle each time as well. Another thing you probably didn't hear about across the pond.

i also had no idea that there was another tower until i saw zeitgeist. and then to watch that building fall...beside footage of a controlled demolition...and for the two to look the same...well...my heart fell into my stomach as i thought about the people. and i think in zeitgeist it talked about the way the towers were built. it said specifically that they were built to withstand this type of attack...the planes crashing into the buildings...its crazy. i no longer trust government of any kind.
