Zeba Quench Questions

Thanks to RIU I have recently discovered Zeba Quench. It sounds awesome for cutting down on watering. But I have a few questions.

In an organic setup:

1. Can you use too much Zeba in a pot? Anyone know how much should be used in a 3 gal pot?

2. If planting in a hole. I'm sure the dirt around the hole will leach some of the moisture, but will it leach enough that you need to line the hole with plastic?

3. Since this stuff holds moisture I'm guessing it will probably hold onto any nutes in the water as well. If that is the case would this also possibly cut down on the need for nutes? Or conversely would Zeba inhibit some of the nute uptake of the plant? Since the Zeba would be holding onto the nutes?

4. Is it better to mix Zeba evenly into soil or to put a layer of it somewhere? I was thinking that a layer lower in a pot or hole would encourage deeper roots as they will grow towards the water. But on the other hand, the lower is it in a pot I would assume that there would be more evaporation and lower in an un-lined hole will allow the surrounding dirt to leach the water.

Does anyone have experience or insight on this? Thanks in advance.
