Yuba county Forfeitures? 6 Plants?

A guy told me he was from Yuba county,
Rented a small house in the forest.
Planted 6 plants.
October of last year they came and cut his plants down and he got a $100 a day fine or what ever.

Last week he said his landlord got a Fast track 30 day forfeiture notice from Uncle Sam to auction off his land/home.

Im not sure what to think,
Its not on google and he said there were over 60 property cases in Yuba county.

Just saying because I cant afford and wanted to grow 5 small Bubbas, cant understand the laws any more.

No 6 plants for his cancer use or something.

Seems to me the important point here is the word forest. If this forest is National forest then feds/game wardens/park rangers etc... will not tolerate this as 'National' Forest is owned by the taxpayers. So as long as you grow, discreetly, in your home on CA soil and don't tell anyone you are probably ok. It's analogous to growing Cannabis on a CA military base. The land maybe located in CA but it's a Federal Reservation. The last thing I'd do is plant Cannabis on National Forest ground or any Federal Reserve. That's asking the feds to visit you.
