Hey all. Just ordered some more seeds.
Just wondering your thoughts on them; good or bad.
They look like they should be good genetics.
The strains are;
Atomic Bomb - Bomb seeds
Flowerbomb Kush - Strainhunters
Fruity Chronic Juice - Delicious
Pineapple Chunk - Barneys Farm
Sour Secret - DNA Genetics

I know ill get the usual greenhouse/strainhunters haters, but ive grown 3 strains from greenhouse so far and they have been top-notch. I ordered a Liberty Haze from Barneys once and it didnt germ.

Nice choice there,, m8 usually anything dna genetics ,, is fire was lookin at our secret,, was guna get it but went for la choc n grape la they are fire,, so sure the secret wool be good,, anything x la seems to work well,, just been smokin sour kosher wich was a freebie and must say it tastes Fukin awesome ,, the fruity chronic bin wantin to do ,, pro my will be fire seen sum good stuff from delicious ,, and usally Spanish genetics pretty good they can grow weed in Spain ,,, I ran a 10 pack of pineapple chunk and was verry disappointed ,, only 1 good pheno out of 10 that finished in 8 weeks all others were pants ,, stretchy reall sativa Dom ,, shit so not to sure bout them m8 the g13 in dam from barneys was killa,, I wana try that next,, tried to get flowerbomb in dam b4 crimbo and couldn't get any anywer was sold out I rekon that will be daddy good choice ,, am guna try pik up sum sour kosher and catract kush for my next lot ,, love la crosses :-) let me no how u go nuikala peace

What I can say about it is the 1 pheno that went 8week was real nice,, turned a dark purple towards the end with slight temp drops and tasted really fruity but I never got a clone as I'd lost all faith in it buy that point ,, 1in 10 any good u would advise to have a try if uve got the time

These seeds, along with a super lemon haze, will be put to sprout in 5 days. gonna run sensi-grow PH perfect from Advanced Nutes. 5.5 gallon fabric bags w Peat moss, potting soil and perlite in a 60/20/20 blend. 600w HID w and 4x 4 foot t-8 and 6 x23W CFL for supplemental lighting. 4x4x7 tent. Veg on a 24 hour light on cycle for 1 week then switch to 20/4 cycle.
I think i will try my first SCROG this grow. I really want to hit 450-500G this next round.

You say tried, does that mean you grew it from seed or you smoked some?

If you grew it from seed, you may have gotten lucky with the 1 in 10 good pheno.
If you just smoked it, then some other grower went through all the hard work of isolating a good pheno and you just get to reap the benefits.

Big difference growing from seed or buying already grown.

Just curious: how do any of your selections end up on a list of "killer strains"?

Why invest 3-4 months on Pineapple Chunk when it's almost universally slammed? Add two amens from here on that loser. Fruity Chronic Juice [ 1 freebie ] was a very good producer of above avg smoke and finished 8-9 weeks. Solid B. Nothing in a 5 pack of THC Bomb impressed me enough to order more from their company, but it was mostly ok. DNA is known for mostly good work, but StrainHunters?

OK so i have heard some bad reviews on pineapple chunk. alot of them. However, from the actual pictures and videos i have seen of the actual plants, the weed looked killer, the nugs were dense and apparently very sticky. That is, if they got a good pheno. I do however not have much respect for barneys farm as a company in general. Also i have not had the best luck with germination rate on BF seeds.
As for greenhouse/strainhunters, i dont know why everyone hates on Arjan and Franco. They are the only ones out there doing the hard, expensive, VERY risky work bringing new strains that you cant just go buy 97 different versions of. I have alot of respect for those guys putting their ass on the line and risking jail or worse, just to try and give people some new strains and keep the genetics from being wiped out. Good for them if they become/became rich in the process. Big Bang, White Shark and SLH are Killer strains that I have personally grown, easy to grow, and they sell their seeds for half the price or less than DNA or the other 'top' companies. There may be alot of variation in greenhouses fem seed pheno's, but i have never seen a "bad" one, just some better than others. I was expecting greenhouse haters tho.

You disregard the opinions on Barneys Farm, and disregard the opinions of people that don't like GHS. You're really not looking for any opinions....you want affirmations. As Mick sang, "You can't always get what you want". Good luck just the same.

Amos is right on the nail, theirs fewer good reviews than bad on most ghs and more so barnies Pineapple chunk.
Videos and comercials should be ignored when buying seeds as their comercials to sell you dream seeds, a dream that will never come true.
GHS and Barnies are known fakers in this game with very few fans. Their good (few they have) strains carry their bad ones. Like Blue cheese (BF)

I agree, im sure they have som eshit strains. All i was saying is i was just looking for some input on specific strains is all. I may have made a mistake with the PC, i knew it was a gamble, it just looks SO GOOD when someone get a good pheno lol.
I was not trying to bash people comments at all, not just looking for someone to agree with me, just wasnt looking for general seed company bashing. Just was looking for something like this "hey, i grew a sour secret, it was easy to grow but the smoke was weak", or "I smoked some FCJ, it was the crappiest smoke ever". Just an opinion from someone with some experience with the specific strain.
If the strain sucks IYO lemme know, if its DANK lemme know.
If you wanna post on something completely unrelated, thats cool too.
I know most people definition of good weed is if it knocks them on their ass and they cough up a lung, then its good, forget the taste, smell, look, and genetics, and grow technique. My definition of good weed is something thats a pleasure on the senses, smell, taste, feel of the nugs, the look of them. And of course, they gotta do the job of medicating sufficiently.

Ya i would not go by a companies promotion videos, the few vids i was speaking of are of actual closet grows and whatnot i have seen on youtube or other vid hosting sites. Trust me, I know most of its hype. Its hard to get through the crap and find some good, consistent stuff thats not just whats popular at the time. AKA Kush in cali, or Cheese in the UK. Canada seems to be on a big Northern Lights kick right now, NL is all thats been around for months.
Yet another reason im glad i grow my own.
Gonna be honest, i dont think ive ever smokes "BAD" weed (and im not talkin about moldy or some shit"
Ive smoked insane weed and weed that didnt really get u stones, but never any BAD weed lol. its all good.
Its all just opinion anyways, i grew a Think Different last grow, it turned out like it was supposed to. I will never grow it again. Didnt like the taste and the stone was weak, also it took 93 days until it looked harvestable. Didnt get me stoned. One of my friends said it was his favorite weed he ever smoked in his life. Gets him wrecked. He cant get enough of it........I thought it was b- grade at best.

Outta all the great breeders out there, I don't even think I'd ever run Barneys gear or GHS. So many other breeders have positive or nearly positive reviews with out half the problems.

Like vanilla kush. piece of shit plant.

I never recommend or purchase GHS. But newbie me did. That's why I don't recommend them....:roll: but it wouldn't be fair for me to say that w/o acknowledging that 1 exodus a couple of years ago was pretty good, and the 2nd is in the low priority [ cfl ] bloom room, now 2 wks in, and a beast. [ full disclosure :) ]
