Your Idea Set-Up

ya know how you start things sometimes, and the initial project grows? like how you'll do research on it, and find out more and want more things for your own personal set up? like in music you'll buy a mic and a keyboard separate, and it'll help you build a recording studio. what would you do to make your grow room?

personally, my refund check just came back $-). I'm about to order my first bit of equipment. I'm thinkin about gettin a Dual Spectrum Bubbleponics Complete Kit and a Bucketeer Basic with some of the extra cash. what would you guys suggest? what would do you guys want to get to complete your set-up?

honestly, I would just diy for all your bubble stuff

you will prolly save so much money just making them yourself.

just need some tubs (whatever size you want, depending on room/plant numbers), air pumps (again depends size of tubs and how many), and some air stones and your done.

get your lights, nutes etc and start you grow

most of those kits are way overpriced and you can make them for a fraction of the cost.

look for deals or sales on the individual items to possibly save even more

I considered that doing that. But by the time I map out every store, most probably won't have what I'm looking for or something that doesn't fit right, and use a lot of gas riding around throughout the week, I might pay a few bucks more for something over the internet. I'm just one of those, "find a good deal and order it over the internet" kinda guys

Dont spend $400 for that Dual Spectrum kit!

Get a small tent, 150-250w HPS light (ballast+reflector in one), and 3x 5gal buckets. Order the netpotlids online for the buckets and buy a good 70 litre/minute air pump w/6 outlet piece. I can find everything online, if you're interested PM me. The only thing that I loved about my bubbleponics kit was the TDS meter rocks. The PH meter is so-so and they dont even give you calibration fluid! The powder PH's are kind of a pain. The air pump they give you is pretty useless. The 6-gal 6-site idea is garbage unless your flowering clones. I definately recommend you make your own kit! Dont be lazy. Ask around. Make multiple shopping carts on different websites. I do most of all my purchases online unless its a DIY or CFL part (HOMEDEPOT!).

someone forgot to mention igloo coolers as a res. Why do people buy those fruity little things? If you must go with a uninsulated tote I recommend the one in the photos. These have a nice hinged lid in the front to check roots/water. I grew some monsters in these and they cost me about 60 bux per unit to build. I found those totes after realizing just how hard it was to deal with changing a bucket out with a 5 foot plant in it.
These were by far my fave builds and worked very very well. easy access to the water.
