Can you believe that the same number of producers licensed for 2,300 patients cant keep up with the demand of 10,000+?!?!??? So ridiculous that the state has let this happen. Shortages, poor quality, and price gouging abound and have been for the last 2 years at least but the state doesn't see any reason to even let potential producers apply for a license. On top of all this is the fact that the state is losing out on a ton of tax revenue as patients more often than not are buying meds on the street. Where I am the state has pretty much created a monopoly for the one dispensary in town so they can pretty much sell shit and charge 13$ a gram for it. No price breaks on ounces. Won't give/sell any cuttings. Weak Weak edibles and from what I have heard non-organic growing practices at times. Crazy I wish there was at least one other dispensary to at least keep them honest.
:wall:

Talking to a dispensary in Abq, they said the state won't license anymore producers because there are lots of card holders with grow permits. Most of the these grow permits are not being used but the state adds them to the total possible amount being grown. It's stupid. Buying from a non-licensed source is much cheaper but still way more expensive than growing your own.

Our governor would be happy to kill the program altogether. Good thing we don't have a GOP congress.

Yeah I know they use whatever smoke and mirrors they can but I really hope that this survey that was sent out is a sign that the state is actually interested in the well being of the program. They can only stall for so long.
