Hello all I would like to know what type yields u guys were pulling off your led. What size led? And how many plants? I would like to pull at least 8 ounces but not sure what size to go with.

Strain genetics, veg times, grow method. There are many of factors that will influence end results. Go with the strongest light you can afford. You can always raise a light thats too powerful but you are stuck if the light is too weak.

8 ounces is a very reasonable expectation in my opinion.

Yeah I was thinking 4 plants the most and looking at the mag plus led, I read somewhere that too much light from the led can also harm the plant. @mtlhaze what was the most you yield from ur led setup?

the best I ever got was 1.2 gpw but this time I only got .8 gpw
genetics has a part to play with the strain you are using if your looking for 8 oz you will need around 400 watts of actual draw to be on the safe side (don't get confused by 3 watt x number of diodes)
once you have nailed growing with leds then maybe you can expect 10-11 oz
As far as light density personally I've found that 400 watts covers an 3.3' x 3.3' area nicely and produces top grade buds and will only need a small extraction system on a theremostadt
I hope this helps

If you want an example, check out the thread in my sig. I've listed the yields from my last grow, Sour D, SLH, OG Kush, and Sour Kush under a couple of black dog platinums. All the stats are there.

Also keep in mind it may take a round or two (in my opinion, anyways) to start getting solid results under LED. There are some changes to be made when switching to LED because the lights kick off much less heat than traditional lighting, so your watering regimine will likely change, and you may even need to apply some (little if you're set up properly) heat to keep a nice soil temp.

I grew 4 plants vegged for 3 weeks each in 5 gallon under one 300w led (the actual draw is 154w) and ended with 5.5 oz dry, this go I've got 2 plants each in 7gal smartpot under their own 300w each draw about 150w, only 1 week into flowering and already looks 10 times better
