hmmm... looks like u need to build a CFL hydros system and stop wasting ur time with this....not saying u not doing a bang up job so far....but i was told that this is a wast of time...but definitely good setup for what it is and i wish u good luck...bong hit for you!

That's what Cali was saying, I'm using an aerogarden.
Also, the AeroGarden is a hydro system that uses CFLs. Of course, a bigger res will make it easier for bigger plants, but I got 1.9 ounces before cure off of one plant. I still have two more flushing in the same res that are twice the size of the first one.

so u will have about a half O after its cured?....hmm "why" is my biggest question? when if u used a bigger set up with just a little more light and the same amount of time and maybe a plant more or 2 more u could have almost have 3 O's cured of a single tree...im not be negative at you btw...i just don’t understand...does a smaller bush that has the same light/time a nuts as a taller tree make it better? (more potent?) i mean i only have one hydro grow under my belt...i stoped cuz it tast like shit...WELL not shit i just like the tast of organic better but anyway i grew 4 plant and my yeild was almost a half pound ( 4 plants 1 month veg 2 1/2 months flower) i just thought the whole idea of hydroponics was to make the plant ten times bigger and ten times as potent. when i can grow a plant ur size in a 2 liter of soil. so please tell me some perks to having this. i just dont get it....sorry if i sound negitive im not trying to be i need to smoke....

Answer: Growing marijuana hydroponically is the best way to have a quick stealth grow. It grows quicker and more vigorously in a smaller area than it's soil counterpart. The reason why the AeroGarden is not a waste, is because it is a valuable learning tool that can easily transfer to bigger and better projects. It is just a building block.
Growing hydroponically doesn't make your plants bigger, nor does it make your plants more potent. Size and potency depends on how well you maintain your plant along with the genetics. You will never reach beyond what a plant can do at it's best.
Also, your plants wouldn't have tasted like shit if you would have given them time to flush before smoking them. The difference between organic and inorganic is null. The same elements are contained in organic material as inorganic, they just require microbes to break down the matter into usable nutrients for the plant.
I'm not upset at your remarks. I know you are just trying to figure out why somebody would put more work into something small than less into something bigger. I live an apartment. Others have no room, also. But that doesn't put aside the fact that we are getting dank weed in our tiny closets along with valuable experience that will help us greatly in the future.

Thanks!. now my only question is why my hydro tasted so bad...I took the time to flush just like I do with my soil...I only had water and air for the last 2 of the 3 weeks and they sat there drying out for the last week before I did anything...a month of dark airflow curing and stored in a canning jar's...did I miss something that’s all I ever done with soil and I I’ve always had that nice fruity smell, smooth smoke and a heave body stone (witch I prefer)

I don't really know. I smoked a sample of mine that hasn't even been cured yet, and it tastes delicious. Haha. Was it a different strain? Maybe it was just a fluke. I don't know, just guessing, haha.

Day 4: Two others have now sprouted up. Also, I tested the PH today and it was between 7.0-8.0 so I put in 1 drop of PH down (wasn't sure how much to put in so I kept it conservative).
When should I start the fan and nutrients?

You can go ahead and start the nutrients now, just start with like 1/4 tab.
You definitely need to keep an eye on that pH. That can cause some problems if it keeps fluctuating.

Nope just some southern OG the same as I always grow I am thinking of unpacking mu hydro stuff my buddy has some purple ultra haze clones for me....I don't really know.
