yellowing leaves

Just curious..my plants are close to two months old, they are both wonder women and they seem to be having yelloing leaves at the bottom of themselves. now i know yellow is not a terrible sign could it be from over watering or is it just a phase in the plants life where it uses the energy from those leaves to keep matureing, also could it be pot size. to me they are very close to needing bigger pots could this be the problem? any comments appreciated.

More than likely its just the plants dont have use for em so they die off to focus energy into stem and more areas that are exposed to light.

My widow 5.5ft has lost her bottom leaves most of them now she has a 4" dia trunk instead. Fuck yeah

With no pictures, we can only guess....:(

However, yellowing leaves, starting from the bottom up usually indicates an N defficiency. Use a fertilizer proportionally higher in nitrogen. Takes about 5-7 days to clear up.
