Yellow seedlings?

I have popped a JTR seed and a 3D seed, both sprouted yellow cotolydons.

Do you have any idea what might be the cause?
Should it fix itself or should I do something?

They were sprouted in peat pots expanded with 5.7PH dechlorinated water with a tiny tiny bit of rooting hormone.

Hope to do your genetics justice, Fonz.

Metalhead is 100% right on. My JTR germed like that and scared the piss outta me, but they did "green up" after only one day or so.
You planning on journaling the grow? I'd love to see 3D all the way through

They already recovered.

I'm running a journal on ICmag and I might post one in here in a few weeks when I'll have something to show.

I'm running a pilot run with those seeds to test my new closet. For my serious run I'll pop 10 Jilly Beans, 2JTRs and 2x3Ds. Might keep some clones from my currect run as well.

Anyway, I will run with subcools genetics this winter.

I really do not like those soil tablet things personally, too easy to over dry or overwater for some people. Nowadays we use 'seedling' soil in about 3.5cm pots.

Glad they recovered

I don't have "seedling" soil around. I don't even have soil without chem nutes additives. 99% of the brands contain Osmocote.

I like the peat pots a lot and never had problems with them. (unlike rockwool which always turned to be a disaster)
I think they are pretty neat and clean to use and once you get the grip on how much water needs to be in them they are pretty awesome.
