well thanks for the pics I have recently build my out DIY Cloner that utilizes spraying with small sprinklers run every other hr, misting with a ebay mister in the nute solution to create a thick mist around the roots on 24/7, and an air stone with pump that creates mist as the bubles break the surface so I hope this will work for my newly cut females. . . let me know what you think Ill try and get some pics Im changing the solution tonite so Ill have everything apart for a photo op. . .post you later happy tokin

the only problem i have with those foggers if that is what your using (the ultrasonic ones) is there is some debate wether or not the neut solution is fogged with the water but if your not using neuts in your cloner then it shouldnt be an issue

:) not that i am an expert i am just a noob lol

Here are those pics I said I would get and that you asked for. . .

The top of my 6 shooter w/ net pots and neo-inserts in a Home Depot Bucket. . .

A little peak at the net pots hangin out. . .

Here is the sprinkler set-up that sprays the net pots or clay or roots whatever you want, running the pump every other hour to keep them nice and wet. . .

The close-up of the fog along with the fogger (Its that red dot I tried to point it out)

Let me know what you think. . .

nice setup :) i read your other thread also about drooping clones man just wanted to share what i know in a bit more detail.

1. my clones go into the holders an the stems are not in the water.
2. water is clean tap water (from a well) and i dont change it till they are done rooting (cause i am lazy)
3. i have never used any rooting hormone or neuts in the water.
4. the bubbles (or spray for your case) hits the bottoms of the stems. ( do your net pots interfear in that process? )
5. i dont mist em or anything
6. when i take the cuttings i put em in a glass of water till they hit the cloner
7. i put em in a windowsill or a dual bar fluro 18 - 24 hour light
8. forget about em for 10 days or so :) think i am on day 9 now and 7 / 8 of them have roots / nubs and are ready for transplant.

ending thoughts lots of these experts have had lots of practice and tweaked everything to perfect for them but simple is always better, hell i normally just sit my cuttings in a jar of water in a window sill and in 14 days they all root 100% i just started this to play with and it seems to shave a few days off lol.

but i do like your cloner cause it could be so multi purpous.

here in a week or so i am going to post my grow room setup whitch is very minimalist but effective you might like it too.

but i am rambling now anyway i hope your clones do well just remimber with mj less is more :)

edit: yea i do seeds all the time they shouldnt come out yellow typical questions would be are you using neuts or soil with neuts in it already ? heat ? light ? are they all doing it or only a few ?

Thanks for all the info and I appreciate you reading up on my other posts. . .They have already perked up so not much drooping its about day 4 today so all is much better just got a little worried first time with the aerocloning

As for the seeds I thought they looked yellow but it was just late and I was too medicated to tell the difference they are nice and green now with healthy preleaves and the first small set of real leaves just starting to show!!! Im so fuckin happy!!! Hopefully ill have some snowbud mommy plants in my future for a nice perpetual harvest ill keep you updated. . .

Im also waiting on some Skywalker as well they are feminized too so I wonder how they will do? I have always been interested in them and how many are actually female b/c I hear alot about hermies with femmed seeds. . .

By chance would you know of any way to stop that or prevent a plant from going both ways????? Sorry bout all the questions its just nice to know someone with some answers every once in a while so many of the noobs on here just want to up their post count and write dumb shit I hate that cuz I dont post unless I honestly think I can help someone bad advice is worse than no advice on here sometimes. . .

Thanks again for the help. . .happy tokin

Nice set-up. . .

Checked my clones today or cuttings should I say and half of them are brown all over the leaves starting at where I trimmed the fan leaves then blochy all the way to new growth! Could this be an infection from unclean tools and has spread through the plant??? Any way to correct? Its mostly near the top of the plant but spread to the bottom leaves of 2 or three I dont know what it is or what to do any ideas??? I would take a pic but camera cant focus in its just all blurry you cant see anything. . .

damnit man i use old rusty sisors and razorblades and never had that but it sounds like some infection / desease but i am not sure .....are the stems getting enough water ?

they should have drops hanging off of them when you check em.

do the DIY ez-cloners need a humidity dome? i have heard of all this great sucess with them but i havnt heard anything about using a dome on them ;) I am also in the same exact situation :( i am trying to use rw to clone and all my bab girls are yellowing and the stems are turning dark purple. they are in 100% humidity and the temps are constant 77F. i cant figure out whats wrong. I did everything by the book and used clonex rooting gel.

I am interested in building an diy-ezcloner but am afraid of the not being enough humidity because my dome wont fit on top of a tub unless its exaclt 10"X20". I can post pics if anyone thinks they cand help. If anyne has any tips it would be much appriciated. ~Thanks
