WTF is this?? Need help RIU

I believe the sulfer burner would most definitely have eliminated the bug problem from what I've gathered from others personal experiences and from what I've read on the net. I wish I had the resources & time to buy everything I needed at that time. I was dumb by introducing "untreated" clones into my momma room. The method I have listed above has proven to be a very effective maintenance program though. I haven't had a bug in the room since and its been months. I did recently buy the sulfer setup and am waiting for it to come in the mail. One can never have too many options for maintenance/treatment....specially when it comes to any type of mites.
As for the plant Pictured with the tops -that was my momma and she had been topped numerous times to provide more flower sites. This is specially ideal for a mother plant cuz she is what I cut the clones from. If you arent familiar with topping your plant, you basically cut off the very top node in between the top two main leaves (the newest growth) on each branch. Just by nipping off this part, it causes the top to split off into 2 tops. When you nip off those tops again, that number now doubles when it grows in bringing that one branch to have 4 tops & so on. The little Jewish grannie I bring to the grocery store every week would call you a mensch for not using poison. Four out of four locally-procured samples I had assayed were contaminated with pesticides and fungicides. Totally irresponsible. You're to be commended.

i been thinking about getting a surfer burner but I'm a little concerned with the smell because all i have is intake are coming from the attic then blowing through my 400w then into the tent, i have no exhaust ports to use a carbon filter and its in my room so i don't want to use UV but yeah i know about topping i was just wondering if you topped or used the fim technique, any reason you chose topping over the fim? also, it looks like theres like a dozen clones you could take, could you take them all at once without killing the plant? and how old was the plant in that pic?

I just topped. Never had much luck with the FIM method since it was so hit or miss for me, but I've had 100% results with topping. I could take up to 75% of the plant and still keep her alive and healthy enough to bounce back with no issues. By the time comes I would need to reap another batch of clones, she would be vegged out and bushy ready to provide again. The momma I had pictured was grown under fluoros and I believe I had approx 3 weeks of veg time and topping on her from clone at that point that the pic was taken. As for the sulfer burner, I would imagine an exhaust vent with a charcoal filter would be crucial to having a burner setup. If no exhaust, i'd at least have a good filter used as an in room "scrub".

How are you keeping your place from smelling of weed without a filter? And I agree with red, I've never been able to master FIM and typically just cut a bunch of future leaf tips off lol

so what happens if you mess up on the fim? does the plant just act like it was topped? but damn that plant was only 3 weeks??? how many times did you say you topped her? but yeah that'd be my only choice would be to have a fan in the middle of the tent with a carbon filter... guess ill just have to take my chances with mold lol

im not flowering where I'm vegging and if it starts to have a slight smell where I'm vegging ill have to use some smell control

Strain dependant I have have to run filter from beginning to end. The strain I'm running now has virtually no odour but where I am it's a concern but not huge, I'm pretty isolated in the winter
