ive never seen a bug in my gardens ever..ive been growing 15 years, all ive seen was an ant..till yesterday..i was cloning and killed a stinkbug..not alarming since they are everywhere..but in the tops of two plants i found 4 or 5 tiny eggs..i picked em all off,but the questions are, what are they, and how do i prepare for battle, because i cant get bugs..no way...IMG_20140330_213347.jpg

Not sure if it is scale or just where the stalk ruptured and leaked from rapid growth.

I would wipe them off n play it by ear

Neem oil and pyrethrum bombs are good to have on hand.
Often useless against pests like aphids.

I really dislike the neem oil shotgun approach. It's like the magic solution to everything in some minds but in reality it's not good for every problem. Same with pyrethrins.

It's always best to positively identify your pest before deciding on control/s.

thats what im tryig to do..charface,it was round hard white eggs,i wish it were stalk juice!..were only talking 2 plants,5 eggs or so apiece, both in the tops of the plants, amongst 40 others..its not an infestation..yet..i have professional bug deterrant used for public spots/restaurant applications..i think ill use that..it got rid of ants in my kitchen with one application..its a gel you put at the edges of the doors..i just remembered i have it...

I've had eggs like these from time to time.

The only thing I've ever seen is very small mites walking around the rim of my pots.

I believe they maybe a soil mite of some form as my yields and plant health are not effected by them when I have seen them around.

I don't get them every grow but tends to be at certain times of the year. Generally just after winter.

Drenching with neem has knocked them back. As too has SPINOSAD and a drench with H2o2.

However if using organics I wouldn't recommend the H2o2 drench as it will kill off your microherd and cause you more problems than it will solve.

i really like the product captain jack's deadbug brew with spinosad. Even if it doesn't solve the current issue, the spinosad will fight agains a myriad of pests, I also used a product called spreader sticker, to make the stuff really stick to the plant. Both of them were made by bonide i'm pretty sure

Another possibility for these eggs are Stinkbugs or possibly carpet beetles.

Generally though carpet beetles lay in groups of 20-100 eggs.

Another possibility is a vine weevil.

Another is a type of moth.

All have very similar "pearl" type eggs.
