Would renting / selling warehouse space for growing be legal?

Hi,

I signing soon to be a commercial real estate broker. I was just wondering if people would be interested in renting / buying warehouse space to grow or retail space for starting a cannabis club.

Also, in terms of legality... I know growing is legal on a state level with a license and not on a federal level, but I heard that they recently passed a law that prohibits dea from prosecuting legal growers?

Yes i actually do, I work for a company that does commercial real estate in all of the East bay and SF

The state can't pass a law that affects what the feds do and if the feds had passed such a law it would be ALL OVER THE NEWS.

A little too far away for me I'm in San Joaquin county.

Alex- I am interested in something in the east bay! I have been looking into leasing a place but having trouble with "what i'm renting it for".. you and I could be a perfect fit.. are you currently signing people into 2000sq ft places for grow????

They tried to organize something like that in my area and the city voted it down. Made it illegal to rent space for the purpose of growing MMJ.
